String Groups Described

The first stage in selecting a string is to reduce the quantity from which you have to make your choice. This can be done fairly easily by arranging the types of available strings into groups. You can then decide which group is most suitable for you.

Original Strings
Better Durability
Improved Performance
Competition


	Original Details		This group is similar to the original strings that were supplied with your racket. They are of average performance and durability. They will be suitable for many club players.

	Durable Details		A player who uses more spin usually breaks their strings more often, and require a string that is longer lasting. Strings in this group are usually made from different materials such as Polyester for extra life.

	Performance Details		These are for players that prefer better performance than the strings supplied with their racket. They would normally have better response and/or durability.

	Competition Details		These are designed for players who want the best performance. This could be for response or consistent performance over the life of the strings.
