Prepare a Short List You need to prepare a list of a few strings that should be suitable. You could start with 10 strings from each of 10 string brands. This is 100 different strings which is obviously too many and needs to be reduced. |
String Groups Details | There are four main groups of strings which are described on other pages. Find the most suitable group and this will eliminate many strings. |
String Brands Details | You may have a favourite brand or possibly more than one that interest you. This will narrow your search to a more reasonable number of strings. |
First List | You should prepare a list with a maximum of 10 to 12 strings. This should not be too difficult if you compare the price and performance of different strings. |
Final List | You should select four to six strings from the first list. You should remember that most of these strings will probably be suitable. |
