String Brand Notes - Luxilon

The name of Luxilon (Belguim) is probably not well known, but they produce a range of strings with high durability under the Big Banger brand name. The brand has become more popular recently, partly due to their sponsorship of many professional players. The strings will be selected mainly by players who require extra durability.

Notes

Luxilon recommend using a lower tension than normal, but you should be careful before following this advice. My tests show that using the normal tesion will be more suitable for most players.

The company was invited to submit further strings for testing. Their reply was that it is not their policy to supply strings for this purpose.
