Kirschbaum P2 Tennis String

General

The name P2 comes from Power and Precision which describes the intended performance characteristics of this string.

Gauges

notes

There is a choice of gauges between 1.20 and 1.30. The 1.25 and 1.30 should be the most popular.

Comfort

notes

This string is not designed for shock absorbing properties, but there have not been any problems with vibration in tests.

In Play

notes

The name of the string comes from Power and Precision. These are the target features and they are achieved with this product.

Durability

notes

You can expect extra durability from these strings, as this has always been a feature of Kirschbaum strings. The thinner gauges will obviously be less durable.

Features

notes

The main additional feature is that there is little movement of the strings in the racket. This is considered to be important to many players.

Tension

notes

There is lower tension loss than with most strings. This is very important as medium to advanced players need consistent string tension.

Price

This string has been been designed for the player who wants a lower priced string. This probably makes it more attractive to players who break strings fairly frequently.
