The Range of Overgrips

This type of grip is a thin tape that is wrapped over the top of the existing grip which explains how the name originated. They are usually much softer and are preferred by players who want a non slip grip. They will need replacing fairly frequently.

Grip Brands

There is a wide choice available, and the final selection is simply one of personal preference. Some players will like one brand and other players will prefer something different.


Kirschbaum	There are two grips Touch-it Ultra (white) which is very thin and tacky. The other is Touch-it (black) which is average thickness and has very good performance. Kirschbaum Grips
Iso-Speed	From the company that manufacture Iso-Speed strings. If you like their strings, you could also try the grip. It is quite thin so there is only a small increase in the grip size.
Gripsy	The brand of Gripsy is well known in many countries. It is perhaps not so well known in the U.K. but is certainly worth considering. The Gripsy Classic is non slip but does not have the tacky surface that some players prefer.
Savarez	There is Soft Grip which is similar to many other grips and has a tacky surface. The other is called Feutre (Felt), which is thicker. This means that it will increase the size of your racket handle.
